This beautiful Brass Boat Lantern is a replica of a 19th Century relic. Although this lantern is not an antique, it has a superb look and is a hard to find piece. The picture really does not do justice to such a fine work of art.

The Nelson Lamp stands 10 " tall without the handle and is 4.5" wide. The oil burning pot and wick unit are serviced from the bottom of the lantern and can be converted into an electric fixture with great ease.

There is room inside for a full size light bulb after conversion. Some the applications that our Nelson lamps have been used for include, ships wheel chandeliers, exterior lighting on property, ceiling fixtures, end table lamps and they also make a perfect patio/deck oil burning lamp. This lamp is very sturdy and weighs nearly 4 lbs.
