Vermont lanterns vary in their capacity to hold fuel depending on the lantern design. A larger lamp, such as our Hurricanes, hold up to six ounces of fuel and the smaller ones hold between one (Mini) and four ounces (Wall-Table) proportionately. Vermont Lamps are designed to be very fuel efficient, so if there is ever a question of shortages of fuel during the year, you will be glad you own one. One quart of standard fuel will last you up to two weeks under normal usage.
